Justyna and Jason’s Destination Wedding in Italy
Going to Italy for Justyna and Jason’s destination wedding actually started with this crazy idea to travel Europe for 6 months! When, I had told Justyna about my plans, she started talking about her dream of a destination wedding in Italy. One thing led to another and we were planning for Italy!
Italy is an amazing place for a Destination Wedding. I loved how Justyna and Jason spent a couple days hanging out at the Villa with family and friends, and made it a huge wedding week. Taking day trip to other cities and really soaking in all that Italy has to offer.
Justyna and Jason’s Italy elopment was one of the highlights of the trip! I knew after their engagement session that they were truly in love and completely smitten with each other! I knew the day would be filled with so much love and emotion. It was more then I could have imagined!
In addition to the amazing couple that Justyna and Jason are, Justyna is also a Wedding Planner from Take A Seat Events. Partnered with Susan Mcleary from Passion Flower Events out of Ann Arbor who also joined us in Italy, the wedding was beautifully planned and designed! Furthermore, It was such a gorgeous day and I know I am sharing way too many photos here, as usual, but I hope you love them!
Finally, Justyna and Jason are such spectacular people, I am so happy to have been a part of their day!
(PS: You can check out their whimsical Northern Michigan engagement session here).

Chloe and Peter had a wedding day to remember! They were surrounded by beloved family and friends, and the Grosse Pointe Club wedding took place by the scenic Lake St. Clarir. When describing the “theme” of the day, Chloe explained: “Peter’s family has a house in Sutton’s Bay, I am from Grosse Pointe, and our families both grew up with canoe tripping in our lives. The lake is an important and symbolic part of our relationship, so we are so excited to be able to show off Lake St. Clair to our guests.” Everybody present at the celebration enjoyed the beautiful scenery, as much as they enjoyed being witnesses to this milestone in the newlywed’s lives.
Chloe went for a more natural look on her wedding day. With minimal makeup and a simple updo, she looked like herself―simply gorgeous!! And her unique dress just helped to accentuate the bride’s natural beauty.
While the girls were getting ready, one of the bridesmaid received a call from her sister. She had just found out that her niece was born! As the new aunt started to shed some happy tears, we snapped some photos to capture this precious, candid moment!
We loved that the couple was so attentive to their guests! They made sure to greet each person present in this celebration. The day might have been about the beginning of their marriage, but the newlyweds wanted this celebration to be about the relationships they have with their family and friends that they cherish so much. We had a lot of fun capturing each moment the couple shared with their loved ones.
Congratulations, Chloe and Peter! Here are some of our favorite moments.

Intimate Wedding, Michigan Summer setting, Mini Cooper, Golden Retriever, welcoming and loving families, and a European honeymoon! I am not sure there is a more perfect wedding for me to shoot!
Bree and Cam’s wedding was one of my favorites! Their intimate backyard wedding can be summed up in one word: absolutely lovely (ok, maybe two). I loved every detail! They are the sweetest couple, and their families were amazing! By the end of the night I felt like I was a part of the family.
I arrived early to check out the grounds for photos, and Cam was still helping get things set up. Bree arrived and was already in tears—good tears! Being myself I made a joke that I didn’t think she would be so happy to see me, haha! We had planned for Cam to see her for the first time in the day when she was already in her dress, but he came around the corner and they shared a moment then. I love that they just sat at the dinner table chatting before the day began.
The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all took place at the groom’s parent’s house. Like a true Michigan home, the property stands by a beautiful lake. The weather was—thankfully—perfect, so the ceremony took place at the dock. Later in the day, Bree and Cam even went into the water on a little wooden canoe!
One of the best things about having a small wedding is that all of the guests were able to sit at same table. This just made the moment more personal and memorable. Without a doubt, there was love in the air—not just the love between the newlyweds but also the love and care of their families!
Just before heading out for the evening, I had to grab a couple quick shots of Bree and Cam with their parent’s MINI cooper/get away car! Since I have 2 MINIs myself, I was obviously obsessed with this!
Congratulations, Bree and Cam! Here are some of our favorite moments of the day.
